This 5 week stroke clinic is a great way to gear up for summer swimming. Instructors will focus on the fundamentals of all four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Additionally, streamlining, pullouts, dives, and wall turns will be taught.
Clinic Dates: Monday, April 8, 2024 through Thursday, May 9, 2024
Swimmers will attend twice per week and choose either: Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday
(No clinic on Friday)
4:00-4:45pm for ages 5-8 (must be currently in kindergarten or above) 4:45-5:45pm for ages 9-14
**These are age guidelines; your swimmer may need to switch to the other group, depending on his/her ability level. Swimmers should be able to move themselves from one side of the pool to the other. We will be working on stroke technique, not providing lessons. Your child should be comfortable in the water and at a minimum be ready to learn how to breathe to the side and learn the fundamentals of freestyle and backstroke.
Cost: $130 for the 5 week clinic
All prior ClInic participants and/or barracudas, as well as SHRC members, will be guaranteed a Spot in the clinic if registered and paid by January 31, 2024.
