SUMMER HILL BARRACUDAS

2024 Summer League Registration

  • All prior Barracudas members as well as SHRC members will be guaranteed a place on the 2024 team, as long as they are registered and paid by March 23, 2024. Registration information will be sent on March 9, 2024. If you are a returning Barracuda and do not receive the email, please let us know via email (shbarracudas@gmail.com) ASAP.

  • New swimmers to the team will be accepted as follows:

    • Non-members/New swimmers will be placed on a waiting list and accepted based on the order of sign up and the number of swimmers in each age group

    • The team will fill up very quickly, so if you are new to the Barracudas please click here to join the waitlist.

    • All swimmers must be 4 – 18 years of age as of May 31, 2024.

  • Tues. June 4: @ Reynolds Rapids

  • Sat. June 8: HOME vs. Shamrock

  • Tues. June 11: HOME vs. The Georgia Club

  • Sat. June 15: @ The Oconee Club

  • Thurs. June 20: HOME vs. Oconee Aquatics & Rec

  • TBD: OSL Championship Meet

  • TBD: District Meet **

  • Fri-Sat. July 12-13: GRPA STATE Meet in Moultrie**

2024 Practice Times:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – No Wednesday Practices

o   6&Unders (10:30-11:00 am)

o   7-8 yr.olds (9:45-10:30 am)

o   9-10 yr.olds (8:45-9:45 am)

o   11-12 yr.olds (8:00-9:00 am)

o   13-14 yr.olds (7-8:15 am)

o   15&up (7-8:15 am)

SUMMER HILL SWIM TEAMS MISSION STATEMENT

The Summer Hill Swim Teams strive to share the sport with all ages and abilities, helping them become better swimmers and achieve their competitive goals. By focusing on detailed and analytic stroke instruction, along with a creative and demanding training regime, and recognizing the importance of communication with parents and athletes, the Summer Hill Swim Teams will make every effort to accomplish these aspects of the sport, while recognizing the athlete as someone who will benefit from life lessons learned by participation in organized athletics.

Moreover, the Summer Hill Swim Teams will strive to ensure that each of us contributes to inclusion. Our culture is the result of our behaviors, our personal commitment, our curiosity, how we collaborate, and the ways that we courageously share our perspectives and encourage others to do the same.
